We liked the location very much, since it is in the very center of Vienna, only 3 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral. It was also very clean and bathroom, although small, was very new.
It was very hot in the room, and if we put the air conditioning on, we were cold. Besides, the only sockets near the bed to be able to charge the mobile were almost on the floor behind the bedside table (those of the bedside lamps) and we could not have the chargers and lights plugged in, of course removing the tables from the wall. There is no minibar either. Finally, the window of the room faced a corridor and we could not open it quietly because someone could enter through it easily and take our belongings, as well as the total loss of privacy during the day if we wanted natural light, because we had to lower a blind to prevent everything from being seen from outside. For what we paid, we expected better services.

Gorgeous traditional hotel in great location to everything you could want in the centre of Vienna. Exceptionally good and bountiful breakfast with 5 proteins and also of course options like Juices and exceptionally nice staff.

Ideal location, beautiful spacious room, cleanliness, polite staff... Best breakfast in Vienna!!!
One minus, essential! There are no refrigerators in the rooms. Not in any of them! There is a common refrigerator in the room where the luggage of departing tourists is stored. You can leave your groceries and your drinks there. But, every time you need to go downstairs (and we lived on the 5th floor.) and contact the receptionist to open the door of the room where the refrigerator is, The fridge is small! and there are apples and jugs with drinks. So there's not much room, And in summer. in the heat. you want cold water, beer, In general, against all the advantages and impeccability. the lack of a fridge is a big disadvantage. At least we'll put it on every floor.

After carefully reading the reviews on this site, I was a little upset, to be honest, staying in a hotel in person, completely changed my mind. I'll start in order. It's very easy to get to the hotel from the airport by bus. Desk seven, bus to Schwedenplatz-Marienplatz. Twenty minutes away and you're there. Get off the bus, turn right and go up three hundred meters. Next, through a small roundabout, again up three hundred metres. little to the left you'll see St. Peter's Cathedral. entrance to the hotel looks exactly at the back of the church. At reception, girl, she saw that I was looking for glasses, filled out the necessary documents for accommodation herself. She then showed me where the nearest grocery store was. She didn't speak Russian, I had enough of my English. I was staying in a single room with windows facing the street. They write that there are more rooms with windows on the courtyard and it's stuffy, I can't say anything about it, I slept with the window closed and I didn't feel the stuffiness. room wasn't big, there was a shower cabin at the entrance, was separated from the room, only the door glass. At first I thought it wasn't comfortable in terms of ventilation, ventilation worked very well and there was no humidity in the room. I liked the bed, maybe because I wandered around Vienna all day, tired and immediately fell asleep without feeling uncomfortable. There's a flat-screen TV in the room, I found two Russian channels in it. room was clean, towels were fresh. Breakfast in the hotel is standard, even scarce for four stars. presence of sparkling wine at breakfast didn't surprise me. Maybe someone likes to start the day like this, not me. By the way, there were no strawberries to match the morning sparkling wine.
Although the tap water comes to Vienna from the heart of the Alps, I didn't really want to drink it. I'd like to have bottled water in my room and a small fridge.

Solo traveler seeks comfort
The breakfast was good, every morning I woke up to a spread. Fresh fruits, homemade cakes, and even the coffee was top notch. And the staff-man, they were like my personal assistants, always smiling and super helpful.
But let's be honest, it wasn't exactly a bargain.

Location ok, center of town.
1. In the room: - no airco in the room - no refrigerator - no bar - poor internet connection (with old type of modem) 2. general: - not very extended choice of food for breafast - for this price (100€/night) there are better hotels

Wandl has an amazing location right in the center, perfect for exploring altstadt. You're just around the corner from great cafes and shops. The staff is kind and helpful. I loved the cozy lobby and the rich history of the hotel.

Great location, all very close in walking distance: Hovburg - 7 minutes, St. Stephen's Cathedral - 5 minutes, apartment Mozart - 10 minutes, Belvedere - 20 minutes cheerful step. Comfortable hotel, quiet, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed. There is a computer and a printer in the lobby - no problem to print out boarding passes. In the bathroom there was a mini set: shampoo, shower gel, body balm, hairbrush and so on. An old building, everything is very decent. From the entrance to the right diagonally shop with champagne, where you can also sit with a glass on a wide window sill or at the bar.
There wasn't enough kettle in the room for complete happiness.

I loved my stay, especially the cozy bed with soft pillows and the warm, inviting vibe of the lobby. The spa and rooftop terrace were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use a few more choices to really shine. 😊

The excellent breakfast buffet had amazing choices, and the vaulted ceiling in our room created a unique atmosphere. Morning Mozart added a lovely touch while we enjoyed our spacious stay.

I had the chance to get one of the big rooms (they are all different, my impression is that the majority are small). The location is excellent for visiting the center of Vienna.
In comparison to prices and standards of other good hotels around the world, probably here you pay a lot for the location.

Nothing!
Room was really very small. The bed was tiny & quite uncomfortable. The toilet was even smaller & there was no space to even sit on the toilet bed. Really horrible!
